BOLLYWOOD COMES TO MIPTV
Indian Film Company - Studio 18 (Level 01: Booth 9.16)
The Indian Film Company Limited ("IFC") is the first publicly listed film company specifically created to invest in Indian films and films primarily targeted at the Indian audiences throughout the world – a £1bn market which is growing at a compound annual growth rate of 16%.
IFC has commissioned the exploitation of its films to Studio 18, India's first vertically integrated motion picture studio with a business bouquet that entails production, syndication, marketing and worldwide distribution of Indian feature films. Studio 18 is a division of Viacom 18, a joint venture between Network 18 and Viacom.
Network18 is among India's largest full play media conglomerates with interests in television, internet, filmed entertainment, mobile content & allied businesses, comprising brands like CNBC TV18, CNBC Awaaz, Newswire18, moneycontrol.com, CNN-IBN, IBN 7, Homeshop18 and E18 amongst others.
Viacom is a leading global entertainment content company, with a family of prominent and respected brands that includes the multiplatform properties of MTV Networks, BET Networks, Paramount Pictures, Paramount Home Entertainment and DreamWorks.
